In this historical travel segment, Jeremy M. Tuggle visits the graves of Governor Isaac N. Roop and his daughter, Susan Roop Arnold. Roop was a Shasta County pioneer who later founded Susanville and served as provisional governor during the movement to organize Nevada Territory. The video concludes with Susan, for whom both the town of Susanville and the Susan River were named.
